MY SCULPTURES
Rabbit
9 x 4.5 x 6 inches
I made this rabbit while looking at one that was given to me by a friend when I was on a grant to make animal sculpture at the Jing De Zhen Ceramic Institute in Jing De Zhen , China under the mentorship of Professor Zhou Guo Zhen, who specializes in clay animal sculpture.
The rabbit would jump around my little studio on campus while I worked and eat greens I bought it at the outdoor market.

Flock of Doves
11 x 5.5 x 4.5 inches
I molded these birds with clay while sitting on a bench in Riverside Park in New York City. A man who was walking by asked how I caught the bird in my hands. He was surprised when I told him it was clay.
The birds give a peaceful feeling. They can be displayed alone or in groups.

Horse
8 x 4 x 7 inches
The inspiration for this horse was from Chinese Tang Dynasty horses. This is less stylized, and the finish is like Greek marble statues.

Dog Waiting for Tummy Rub
7 x 6 x 3 inches
This dog was inspired by one of our family dogs when I was a teenager.
The dog was a yellow lab mix named Brandy

Sleeping Dog
6.5 x 2 x 5 inches
This is my lab mix, Kirby, curled up sleeping.
I could make a custom sculpture of your dog.
